We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous individual to join our team as a Janitor. The primary responsibility of this role is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the bar, arcade and bowling alley. The ideal candidate will ensure a clean and orderly environment for our patrons and staff, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Clean and sanitize all surfaces, including tables, bars, floors, and restrooms, according to established standards.
2. Empty trash containers and replace liners, ensuring proper disposal of waste materials.
3. Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and toiletries in restrooms and other designated areas.
4. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors daily to maintain cleanliness and prevent hazards.
5. Handle cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and responsibly, following all safety protocols.
6. Collaborate with management to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and in a timely manner.
7. Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of broken glassware and other hazardous materials.
8. Uphold high standards of personal hygiene and appearance while on duty.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in janitorial or cleaning roles, preferably in a bar or similar establishment.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, supplies, and techniques for different surfaces.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude toward customer service.
• Flexibility to work overnights and every other weekend.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in cleaning or sanitation procedures is a plus.
• Prior experience in a hospitality or food service environment.

Working Conditions:

• This position requires working in a busy bar environment with exposure to noise, heat, and cleaning chemicals.
