Bowling Attendant

We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused Bowling Attendant to join our team. The Bowling Attendant will be responsible for providing excellent service to our patrons, assisting with lane reservations, and ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience at our bowling facility.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly and assist them with lane reservations, shoe rentals, and other inquiries.
2. Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
3. Explain bowling packages, promotions, and additional services to customers.
4. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the counter area and bowling equipment.
5. Monitor the availability of lanes and coordinate lane assignments based on customer preferences.
6. Provide basic instruction on bowling techniques and rules to new or inexperienced bowlers.
7. Address customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to management when necessary.
8. Maintain knowledge of current specials, events, and promotions.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure a positive and seamless customer experience.
10. Uphold safety and sanitation standards, including proper handling of bowling shoes and equipment.

Requirements:

1. Previous customer service experience, preferably in a hospitality or entertainment setting.
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
4. Basic math skills for processing payments and transactions.
5. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Experience with POS systems or computerized reservation systems.
2. Knowledge of bowling techniques and rules.
3. Certification in food handling or safety training (if applicable).

Physical Requirements:

1. Ability to stand, walk, and lift moderately heavy objects (up to 25 pounds) for extended periods.
2. Stamina to work long hours in a dynamic and customer-oriented environment.
