Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team. The Bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving beverages to patrons in a friendly, efficient, and knowledgeable manner. This role requires a passion for mixology, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.

Responsibilities

1. Greet customers warmly and take drink orders promptly and accurately.
2. Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to company recipes and standards.
3. Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, ensuring a positive experience.
4. Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar area, including stocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies.
5. Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age.
6. Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations.
7. Handle cash and credit transactions accurately and responsibly.
8. Upsell drinks and menu items to maximize revenue opportunities.
9. Collaborate with other team members to ensure excellent customer service and efficient bar operations.
10. Stay updated on current beverage trends and attend training sessions as required.

Requirements

1. Proven experience as a bartender in a similar environment.
2. Extensive knowledge of mixing and serving drinks.
3. Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
5. Strong customer service orientation.
6. Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
7. Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
8. Certification in responsible alcohol service.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Certification from a bartending school or equivalent training.
2. Experience with POS systems and basic computer proficiency.
3. Knowledge of local and state regulations regarding alcoholic beverage service.

Physical Requirements

1. Ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects (up to 30 pounds) for extended periods.
2. Stamina to work long hours on your feet.
